Hunting Camps

Zimbabwe

We are not offering 5 star lodges, as there really are no 5 star lodges in the hunting areas of Matabeleland North.

We are hunting from 3 camps in the Dete / Gwayi region, and 5 camps in the Matetsi region.

What we are offering you is beautiful, comfortable clean accommodation, with clean white sheets, hot showers - each camp with its own distinct African atmosphere.

Complimented with that is excellent African cuisine and friendship.

Our camps vary from semi-luxury to more rustic permanent camps, then also the classic African Safari Style tented camps to fly camps.

We use fly camps when we move to more remote areas to hunt for instance leopard or lion, or when we concentrate on specific trophy elephant / buffalo bulls in remote locations.

Central to camp life is our camp fires, where we spend a lot of time discussing hunting issues and building friendships.

Our permanent camps all have 220 volt electricity, whilst in some of the tented camps we use either generators or solar energy.

Be sure you will enjoy your stay in our camps!

The camp is already in use, and for groups up to 3 hunters and partners, we can accommodate them to hunt this beautiful area.

    MALINDI RAILWAY LODGE

Malindi Railway Lodge is a unique lodge, in the sense that it resembles a railway station of old.

The sleeping quarters consist of 3 railway carriages, each with 3 sleeping rooms en-suite bathroom and toilete. The camp therefore offers accommodation for up to 9 couples

Central to the three carriages is the dining area and lounge, where we often watch the lions hunting herds of buffaloes that bed down right in front of us under the floodlights.

The platform is elevated at about 1,8m high, giving us a good view over the open clearng in front of us where herds of elephants, buffaloes and sables come to drink at the natural springs.

Malindi Railway Lodge is situated 350m away from the Hwange National; Park boundary.

You will hear the lions roar most nights, and spotted hyenas are nightly visitors to the springs.

Our preferred camp to hunt from when we hunt our hunting blocks next to Hwange National Park.
